The Institute of Future Sustainable Development (IFSD) offers practice-based leadership training and a private certification program designed to empower women and youth as changemakers at the center of societal transformation. This program equips participants with essential competencies to navigate the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transition, including project planning and implementation skills, sustainable organizational management, and adaptive leadership. Leadership development, as a strategic approach to advancing women’s rights, functions not only as a means of enhancing individual capacities but also as a powerful driver of systemic social change. The program follows a step-by-step curriculum and culminates in the awarding of formal certification.
In 2023, IFSD provided leadership training focused on technology-based women’s rights issues, offering 74 women and youth the opportunity to grow as gender equality leaders. In 2024, we expanded our efforts to foster future women leaders through a UN SDGs-based certification program and global mentoring lectures. The program emphasized competency-based education and included hands-on certification assessments to ensure practical skill development.


세계시민교육 인증과정 (K-GCED Certification Programme)
The K-GCED Certification Program of the Institute for Future Sustainable Development (IFSD) is a dual-track leadership initiative developed based on Korea’s development experience and UNESCO’s Global Citizenship Education (GCED) principles. Designed for both learners and educators, the program fosters the formation of global citizenship identity, strengthens core competencies, and cultivates leaders who drive sustainable social change through action-oriented civic engagement projects.
